Makuta is incredibly intelligent and has been first in her class since she started at CRC a few years ago. Her favorite subject is religious moral education (RME). She loves to sit down and read with her sister Mariama. Makuta is gifted in school and always does exceptionally well on her exams. Makuta has a contagious laugh, endearing her to those around her. She is strong-willed but has a very sweet side. Makuta is very attached to Hawa and can often be found sitting right next to Hawa or playing with her hair. Makuta is a natural leader and others listen and follow her; perhaps this is why she tells us that she wants to be a teacher when she grows up?
