Tenneh is from the village of Kakamba, where she grew up with her mom and three siblings. Tenneh’s dad passed away when she was three years old. She arrived at Mamaland at the request of the Ministry of Social Welfare. Tenneh is competitive, when on her second day at Mamaland, she was able to show off her impressive soccer skills to the older girls. Tenneh is strong and leads the other girls in her house. She is playful and loves to joke with her other sisters. She says that she really likes her ABC’s. She is really trying hard to learn how to express herself in English and will really benefit from a quality education.
